Transfering activation To PC with no floppy Drive.

5 posts in this topic

Hi All, I have just recieved a new laptop, I never thought that I would use a floppy drive, until I went to install my Rockwell programs... Any Idea how to transfer my activations on 3.5" floppy to my laptop with no floppy drive..... I suppose that I could go and buy a USB floppy drive, but this would be the only thing it would ever be used for. Cheers Berocca

If you have a network connection on the machine, just transfer it using that. (From a machine that has a floppy to the laptop via network...)

You could also find a pc with a floppy drive and a usb port and evmove to a thumb drive, then take that to your new laptop usb port and evmove to the C: drive.
