RSView32 and S7-200

Hello, I want to make a connection with RSView32 and the Siemens S7-200 (cpu 222). Is this possible and how is this working? What for cable connection must I use? Greetings, mulderm

why not!!! you can use the opc server S7 OPC and DDE server from klinkmann automation there is have a trial version.. so you can connect it with opc in RS-view. read the help for addressing the tag database... grettings, mappin

Yes it is possible, I do it using Kepware & the PPI cable. Use the OPC between RSView32 and Kepware and then set the channel in Kepware using PPI. works very well cheers
