communication with S7200 CPU 212

I have a problem communicating with a S7200 CPU 212 , I am using MicroWin from a SIMATIC PG720P connecting with the MPI the communication settings (PG/PC Interface) are set to MPI-ISA on board (PPI) , the cable is the same MPI cable I use for connecting to MPI ports for the S7300 CPU's . when I "TEST" the communications setup the mesage is " Comminications setup working correctly" , but most of the time I am getting the "Communication time-out" error when I try to upload or download. Still I am able to chnge the PLC mode from RUN to STOP from the PC, I tried changing the baud rate and communications setup but still It wont work
