upload/downloading powerflex 700 with COMM-R

I feel like I should know how to do this, but I'm stumped. After replacing a VFD and attempting to copy params via the HIM module I got a incompatibility fault. The parameter list is very large, I'd rather not attempt to manually program. The drive is using a COMM-R remote IO interface. How do I connect to this with the pc?

I think the 1203-USB to DPI adapter is my only option...
