Hi ppl At my place of work we are having a problem with a tp170 the stop / start icon appears to be locked in the on position which is giving the plc a rouge i/p i have checked the ladder and its address is not being used anywhere else apart from this function can these screens become faulty and lock an icon on ???? all the other icons seem ok cheers for any help

Do you use it as a switch or a pushbutton. I have had some problems with buttons, and it took some time to find out what was the problem. Some problems occur, because of copying buttons and then change from switch to pushbutton, and forget there was also a function for the off-position of the button. You can try to erase it, and make a new one. Good luck, Erik

I have had similar problems with these screens in the past, where the display will freeze and hold on switch functions etc. This problem disappeared when I updated the WIN CE version it was running on. Have you any idea which version you are on?
