Panelview K5a5 and Micrologix 1200

Hey everyone Sorry if this has been beat to death, but relative searches do not seem to help.(maybe it is an old problem) I have a Panelview 550 2711-k5a5 and a Micrologix 1200 1762-l40awa Ser. c rev. H I can successfully download into the PV using panelbuilder and also download into the 1200 using the DF1 driver in RSlogix.. When I change the 1200 to dh485 in rslogix, it gives me the warning and then goes offline from RSlogix. I connect the PV to the 1200 directly using a 27110nc21 cable. I can not get the PV to recognize the 1200. I will prob end of getting an AIC+ to connect the PC to the plc instead of switching to DF1, but shouldn't i be able to change it back to dh-485 and direct connect the 1200 and 550?
