How to configure motorola li4278 with Allen Bradley Micrologix 1400?

I want to configure Motorola Li 4278 barcode scanner with Allen bradley micrologix 1400 plc.I have connected my scanner to plc by using serial RS-232 port. But i dont know how to configure it and how to take values from bar code. Please help me...!!!

Use the ASCII instructions in the Micrologix to communicate with it. That should get you started, if there's any more specific issues you come across, it'll be easier to answer those. Best of luck!
