Hello, I'm a summer intern working at a steel mill mostly with HMI design and PLC programming. I've been here for 5 weeks and had no prior knowledge of either before coming in. I'm trying to find out if any of the Modicon 140's have a status bit that I can access so the electricians will be able to tell from the HMI which PLC in the drop is down before going in to make the necessary fix. Any comments would be appreciated but like I said I have little experience with PLC's so hopefully I will be able to understand.
