RSView32 and power logger

2 posts in this topic

I'm working on an application where I will need to read data from a logger or device that will be read by RSView32 ..specifically power monitoring. This will need to be displayed in some sort of trend In RSView32. Does anyone perhaps have some suggestions which power monitoring equipment to use that will be easy to integrate into RSView32? My original thought is to use an OPC server and a device with an Ethernet port...but I don't know whats out there...and I don't want to reinvent the wheel Thanks for any input or help

Further to this, I have found out that the sqaure D EGX100SD Ethernet gateway will work. So now, the question becomes - can anyone tell me if RSView32 can access an Ethernet gateway? Square D have given me the registers I need to access with the gateway, but can RSView connect to the gateway? Thanks for any help
