Trying to test a CompactLogix L30 with a RSLX5k v19

I have a 1769-L30 that I would like to put on ebay but want to confirm it is working before I do so. I have RSLX5k V19... which will not work with this controller. I was wondering if there is another way I can verify that this controller is working before selling it?

You would need to use the Flash Utility and flash the firmware of it to V19, I would check to see if the L30 can handle the V19 first.
