Proface GP2600

I work in Industrial setting and have the Proface GP2600 HMI on all machines. Recently I edited a screen after extracting current program off of proface. After editing I sent only the edited screen back to Proface. I have had issues since. I have buttons that will not work. If I power unit down they may work for 20 minutes and then stop again, or they may not work at all . Specifically they are memory reset buttons on the machine process. Also some oth the Individual buttons react very slowly such as jumping to another screen etc. I have dumped previous backups back into proface. Finally decided it had to be going bad. So I swapped out the Panel and to my shock it made no difference. HELP.....? I have gone through the GP setup etc. Any ideas? Or is this a feature similar to AB's many unexplainable "features".
