Password help panelview C300 Mono

I am creating screens for a machine we are manufacturing, and i would like to apply a password to a secure menu screen. This is so the only trained operators can enter in values and change settings. The password is only for the secure menu. I still need the machine operators to access the other screens. I currently have it set up so that, when the operator is on the main menu screen, they can press the secure menu button on the screen, if they know the password they can continue on entering the password and have access to the secure menu, but if they don't know the password the only other option is to press the back button that currently returns them to the main menu. Can any one give me a step by step on how to set the password entry button or screen ??? My supplier told me it was a string entry key but this is my first time using the C300 I always used Panelview micro 300 but you can't get them anymore, and I have been trying to nut it out for to days. cheers
