move activation

I wanted to move my activation from a windows xp to windows 7 computer, but failed. I down loaded the evmovecf, followed the instuction. It showed the activation moved from the computer to the usb stick. but when I used the evmove from the usb stick to the windows 7 computer, it failed and now the activation is gone off the usb stick. I followed the instruction from AB. What am I doing wrong? I have RSlogix5 Version 9 loaded on both.

Did you follow the instruction bit that said to right-click on EVMOVECF.exe and select "Run As Administrator" ? That's the most common thing I see in the Knowledgebase. Either way, if there's no EVRSI.sys file on your Windows 7 machine, then the Activation is gone. I don't know if RA will even provide EVRSI activation replacements anymore, or if they will only do upgrades to FactoryTalk Activation.
