Hi, I am struggling finding information to set up (program) an S7 CPU 315-2DP to communicate with Labview using an Applicom card. I have setup the card and I have comms with the PLC now I need to code the OB1 and FCs to do the communicating. I am using Labview to represent the plant and need the PLC to send the data from its outputs to labview to disply the operation. Later I will need the PLC to read data from Labview and act upon it. Any Help appreciated. Thanks Tom

Tom, Who do you wanna communicate, with OPC or with the conventional communication (IP or MAC)? Rudi

Rudi, I am connecting the s7 using the DP port on the CPU to the Applicom card in the PC using the OPC server that came with the card to connect to Labview. In Labview I will be using Datasocket. The main bit I am stuck on is setting up the PLC to communicate with the Applicom card transferring Data etc.. Thanks Tom
