CoDeSys PLC to S7 via Ethernet

I have several Moeller XC200 CoDeSys PLCs sitting on a site wide Ethernet. We easily exchange data between the XCs using network variables, but now I need to access some variables in a Siemens S7-300 on the same network. The Siemens PLC doesn't support network variables as far as I can see. Has anyone any experience that may assist me in establishing this link please ?
