E1000 series hmi

hi, new to forum and to e1000 series hmi's can anyone tell me, with the e1041 hmi, (i guess it will be the same for all e1000's with usb capability), how to remove the values of several data registered on an fx1n via usb? obviously i can get them to display on the screen, but im looking to take the values away on a usb memory stick, and insert into excel for graphing or analysis. is csv export possible? it looks like the hmi will do trends and graph data directly, but how can i export this? any help much appreciated thanks regards

Not exactly sure how or if you can do it direct to USB, but you can certainly do it by connecting to the screen with Beijer's HMI Tools FTP client software. The directory structure in the HMI will then show itself and any trends that you have set up will automatically create *.CSV files which can be transferred by FTP and opened in a spreadsheet. The number of readings available depends on the settings in the trend.
