InduSoft just released version 7.0

InduSoft just released a new version of InduSoft Web Studio. It's free to download from the site. The download has all the features unlocked, and gives you 40 hours to develop in the evaluation mode. http://www.indusoft.com/mainpage.php?aricleid=14&type=download/iws/scada/software/trial/demo/HMI This software does both SCADA and HMI, and here's a quick rundown of some other cool things about the new version of InduSoft Web Studio: There's a new user interface that's really easy to use. The graphic tools are all improved. You can rotate bitmaps dynamically, resize images easily, and there are new color palettes and fill colors. It's easy to configure FTP and SMTP settings - no scripting required. There are some new security features, and it also connects to Microsoft Active Directory, or any LDAP security. It'll connect to any SQL database. There's OPC UA and OPC Xi support There are a bajillion drivers for PLCs and controllers. (okay, more like 240, but a lot are new or updated)
