Writing Files to Memory

Hello All, Is it possible to us Mitsubishi GOTSoft HMI or a third party Soft HMI like Wonderware to read an external file on a PC, such as a .csv, .xls, or .txt file that would basically have a list of 100s of data points and then dump the points in the file into the extended memory of the PLC?
