Writing Data to Another Station CPU via Ethernet

Hey all, Is it possible to write D register information to another CPU station via Ethernet without using the buffer communication commands? (ZP.BUFSND and ZP.BUFRCV). You would think that if you set up the Station No. <-> IP Information settings then there would be a command to send information to a station number just like an HMI does. The only thing I can find instruction wise is "j.write" but I can't find any information on this command anywhere. Does anyone know where to look or if this is even possible? Thanks!
