FT RSView Studio

I am trying to upload the .mer file from one of my panelview 1500's and when I open the FT RSview studio software on that PC it says that PC's Name (CIMT45982982) does not exist on the Ft directory. Does anyone know how to add the PC to that directory? thanks

Sounds like you need to run the FT Directory Configuration Wizard. FTView ME runs in the local FTD, meaning that the name of the PC is not present on the local PC itself (as opposed to a remote Network FTD.) This could've happened by restoring a different PC's FTD configuration, for instance. Run the config wizard (found in the FT utilities under Program Files, Rockwell Software) and "reset" the local FTD. Note: this will require an administrative-rights username/password.
