Tags from RSLogix500 to RSView-ME

I'm trying to get my tags from RSLogix500 into RSView. I totally understand tags and how to get them over ethernet and Devicenet using Logix5000 as they are predefined and stored in the controller. Well when I use the tag database import wizard (rsview), it asks me to select the source project which is an *.rsv file. Where do I find this? I looked under my HMI projects folder but I'm not seeing it. I know this is probably easy and I'm just overlooking it. I've never had to import the tags from .eas before. I have exported the .eas from my file already...

Are you sure about the "*.RSV"? The current FactoryTalk View ME can import directly from the *.RSS file. I don't have RSViewME loaded anymore so I can't test that. I see that .RSV is the extension for RSView32 project files. This wouldn't apply. Can you state the steps you are using to import the tags? Edited 29 Jul 2009 by b_carlton
