How do you assign an alias to a status bit in RS Logix 5000 given there is no reference to an I/O point?

Write them to a memory bit and alias that.

I know that the original poster asked for some method to assign an alias to a status flag. The problem is that some status bits (like overflow or negative) can change with almost every numeric instruction. Therefore writing them to intermediate variables would be a bit unwieldy if the writing were in a subroutine and called after each and every numeric instruction. I think the original poster's best option is to utilize the status flags as they exist.
