Micro Logix 1000 Communication with PC with RS232

Hi everyone. I have Allen-Bradley Microogix 1000 and i would like to make scada for it, is there any manual for rs 232 communication, cable description (pinning)? Is it possible to to send him message and get return value of I/O, memory status? Thanks!

You will need a driver to do this. It supports the DF-1 protocol. Alternatively (and much easier), you can buy an OPC server from Allen Bradley (RS-Linx OEM version), Kepware, or Matrikon. This eliminates the hassle of developing the driver-level software. The pinout on the cable is right in the Micrologix manual...look on literature.rockwellautomation.com for all manuals. That being said, a PLC is a "DTE" device, and so is the PC. So you need to use a crossover cable. Since Micrologix PLC's have a strange "round" port, you need a special cable for it.
