Upgrade Firmware v7 to 8 Micrologix 1100

Hi All, Im have been trying to access my micrologix 1100 (1763-L16AWA, SER. B, REV. B, FRN 7) embedded web server but eveytime i tried i would get a bad os error so i read in to it and seems the firmware on this controller has a a problem and the fix is just to upgrade the firmware...easy enough right? well i have been struggling with this for the better part of the morning and i just keep getting these errors DTL_E_NORECONN and DTL_E_I/O something when i run control flash anyone have any suggestions cause i cant find any resources to help me with this. cheers, shawn

Figured it out forgot to enable the dcomm port on the micrologix DUH!!!! Edited 24 Oct 2008 by shawn_walker
