SLC 150 Communication Error

3 posts in this topic

Thanks in advance. Have a project using SLC 150, PCIS on Windows XP platform. Set both to COM1. 9600 baud. Using handheld I am able to program and store. I used two different cables and pic between SLC and laptop and had same error. No communication between ... SLC power was on. Anyone still alive that has experience with these? Pat

I don't know if this is going to work but it worth the try. Right click on the PCIS icon, go to PROPERTIES then to the COMPATIBILITY tab. Make it compatible with Windows 95. If I am not mistaking, it was working with Win95. Good luck. Dan

again i know its an old post..but my 2 c I dont think it will work...only becouse any version of windows above win98 does not have true dos..They emulate it..Even if you run in compatabilty mode you will still have problems..I have found the easiest way is to have an old laptop with dos on it and work with the old processors from that..
