Micrologix 100 Error

I occasionally get a major fault on my ML1000 for no apparent reason (I am thinking it may be a line noise issue). Anyway I want to automatically clear the fault on bootup, so I have set bit S:1/8 to 1 (override at powerup). Fault bits are cleared except for S:5/8 (Retentitive Data Lost) which always gets set with S:6 bits, except I don't see a way to clear S:5/8 at powerup, I must manually go into RSLogix to clear it.S:1/8 says it clears minor error bits S:5/0 - S:5/7 and major bit S:1/13, but I am still hung up with S:5/8 being on. Any ideas?

Clear the bit you need to clear in the fault routine, this routine is scanned when a fault occur. By default is routine #3 but you can change it with S:29 (see picture) micro1000_program_files_description.pdf
