CALL FOR PAPERS Industrial Automation Conference 2007 The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers-Automation Technology Industry Group (FMM-ATIG) is pleased to announce the Industrial Automation Conference 2007 (IAC-2007) to be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) Malaysia, from July 19 to July 20, 2007. This conference will be held in conjunction with the 4th Industrial Automation 2007 Trade Show. The theme of the conference is: “Competitive Edge and Effective Management through Automation Technology” The conference’s highlights will be the sharing of experiences and expertise in Industrial Automation and Process Control to achieve manufacturing excellence, quality improvements and enhance competitiveness. In view of rapid globalization and strong competitions from neighboring countries, this two-day conference will be timely. Hence, we are expecting a good turn-out of about 100 conference participants. A total of 12 papers have been planned. Topics covered shall include success stories, application know-hows, recent advances in automation technology and engineering education/training needs. Your accomplishment and excellence in your works have been well recognized. Therefore, you are cordially invited to share your expertise and views at the conference. A list of proposed papers is attached for your consideration. You may propose other topics of relevance and interest to the industry. The duration of each presentation is 25 minutes, plus 10 minutes for the Q&A session. Speakers will enjoy high recognition and visibility at the conference, as well as exposure via publicity materials. All speakers are also special guests of FMM-ATIG and may attend the entire conference free-of-charge. Avoid the rush.
