    Hi, If your using pc adapter usb programming cable just like what i have here (6es7972-0cb20-0xa0), then this is what i did. set pg/pc interface to PC Adapter (PPI) -> properties-> check your address the same as in your plc address, maybe 1,2,3 or etc. then check also your baud rate it maybe 9.6kbs, 19.2kbs,187.5kbps and highest station address is 31. Last time i'de uploaded a program from s7-200, cpu 226. i only played the address at the station parameter and the baud rate, for about 5 minutes try and error i was able to connect. ----Jairus---

    Hi Sir, In order for the PLC to connect to your Laptop, you need a programming cable, in my case, i'm using "Simatic S7 PC adapter USB (6es7 972-0cb20-0xa0). In simatic manager menu you will find "OPTION" -> set PG/PC interface -> PC adapter (auto). PC adapter (auto) has a "properties", you can change the address if needed so, this is depend on the address you set in the PLC.     1.) 6ES7 901-3db30-oxao, i think this is only for s7-200. (But just give a try, you will find out after installing the driver if some option for communication is available). 2.) 6es7 972-0cb20-0xa0, for s7-400,s7-300, and s7-200.
