I am a very curious person. I tend to become interested and fascinated by a wide variety of areas. PLCs is merely a single one of these areas. Seeing I do not do this full time, I never get to use the really big PLCs or HMI's. Most of the things I have programmed were leftovers from an existing system whose application expired or changed and required updating. I have dabbled in theatrical and entertainment lighting systems, becoming proficient, if not advanced, with most of ETC's current controllers. Again, I am limited by the budgets of the facilities in which I work and therefore have never had the fortune of using the real big stuff, like the Wholehog. I also work with live production audio and own a small scale system myself. I also have a few Cisco network certifications and am currently working on a civil engineering degree.
