Hi, If you select DMOV and press F1 the online help will appear on the screen, if you look at the help regarding DMOV you'll find the following information: "NOTE The program example will not run without variable definition in the header of the program organization unit (POU). For details see Programming Manual, part 1." The solution seems to be to declare a global variable connected to D8 (type = DINT) and then declare this variable in the POU header (VAR_External). I'm no Mitsubishi pro, the described procedure solves the problem (= no compile errors), there are maybe other solutions for this problem/instruction? //Supporter

Hi, The old E-terminals (E300 - E910) does not support SMTP-servers that require authentication. However, the new E1000-terminals supports authentication, which means that it's possible to login to the mailserver. I know that some of our customer's use a service at www.smtp.com to relay e-mails. //Supporter

Hi Guys, I really need your help, I've a CJ1M CPU12 with an ETN11 ethernet card. When I downloaded an application the CPU went in to STOP and it's now impossible to communicate with the CPU (hostlink/sysmac way) and the ethernet card. Is it possible to restore the PLC to factory settings? I've already removed the battery but the PLC stills shows ERR/ALM when I power up (how long time is needed to wait to be sure that the memory is empty?). Please advice, Thanks! //Supporter

Hi, Are you sure that you are using the same baudrate for both the modems? (AT+IPR = 9600)? If you are using Hyperterminal you could try to use Flowcontrol = none. Regards, Supporter

Which other programming softwares are available, I know about RSLOGIX 5 but it's awfully expensive (we only need to connect a HMI and test configuration and different file-types). Hi Guys, I really hope that anyone of you can help me. I'm trying to connect RSLINX to a PLC5/25. I'm using the "RS232 DF1 device"-driver but RSLINX can not find the PLC-system. I've tried to remove the battery (to obtain default settings etc) but without any luck. I've also tried to use crossed and straight serial cables. Do you have any ideas or you need more information?! All your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
