some days before, when the V5 of NS-Designer was about to be released, I read somewhere in the omron secret papers that this functionality will be implemented in next V5 version. it never came though. or this was a dream. that is how my dreams look like, btw.

hi, maybe I am missing something, but how can you specify in the macro that there is a double word? the syntax is READCMEM($HW100, [sERIALA:DM00100], 2); if you want to read DM100 double word you read DM100 2 words, that is the last parameter of the command. then, $HW100 gets value of DM00100 and $HW101 of DM00101, so if you want to copy the DM100 e.g. DINT you have then to play with $HW100 and $HW101. If I am in error please anyone, let me know. Regarding time out error, try to separate these two operations in two successive macros, reading and then writing. regards

PdL, add to the Object section, at point 3, pop-up window doesn't have border when you select no title bar. then it looks bad. so, they should put window border as option, title bar as option etc. regards

have seen the list, great job PdL! nothing to add. Just regarding this compatibility with excel, in one word that is, return it as it was in NS-Designer (there you could copy paste anything from Change Settings at Once dialog to Excel and vice versa - labels (captions), address, everything). And of course, retain this auto addressing in Edit Properties dialogue of CX-D, although it is much more powerfull when you do it in Excel and paste it back to CX-D. Regards to all

yes, I had a chance to test it. also, the machine edition is sold now for the price as CX-S 1.32, and full version called plus about 50% more. I've noticed that now VBScript is default script (not CX-Supervisor Script), the obscure find feature is still the same (there is no replace function, too bad). I am very happy that translation tool can be used with excel for copy/paste. no parallel hardlock anymore. Generally, good work, can't wait to implement it somewhere. regards

My experience is that when I need some advanced data table search, in order to make less plc programming i use data block tables but after a while a realize that it's functionality is not enough. so I switch to plc and make data tables in it's memory and I use cj/cs advanced database commands. in NS I only use simple table to view data and that is all. regards

Siemens sucks definitely. i was bugging with WinCC for some time it's a pain and can do less. Omron rules.

it's allways better to perform clean install, so uninstall previous version and then run setup 2.04. though the installation program will perform uninstall of the previous version of cx-one it won't uninstall all programs from cx-one 1.1 - as I can remember. anyway, uninstall old and then install new. regards

Sorry, my mistake. I see now, I've arranged install directory in my firm as CX-S 1.22 (9) full version, then patch to 1.3 (20), then patch 1.32 (4). so no need for 1.25 (4) patch. sorry. my memory seems to be fading out. sure, this is the case when you only see omron when looking back. regards

Well, my experience tells other way. I had 1.22 (9) with licence for it. then the 1.24 patch came but turned my CX-S into demo but the 1.25 patch works well. so, 1.22 (9) to 1.25 directly works. Now, to apply 1.3 patch you need 1.25. it cannot be applied to 1.22 (9). then 1.32 (4) can be applied to 1.3. that is what I experienced. little confusing, I must say.

none, for now. when new cx-one 2.1 arrives its cx-programmer version will support SFC. I think it will become reallity in june / july, maybe even earlier. regards.

Does anyone know which software is used to program the Omron operator panel NT20M-DF125-V2? This model has functional keys and does NOT have touch display. I've tried dos tool NT-Support Tool v2.33 and also v2.1 but there is only NT20M model (next is NT20s) with no functional keys. Since I don't have this model on my desk (it's at customer's factory) I can't test if this NT dos tool will work. Is there someone with this particular experience? thanx

Hello all, I finally got the NT20M-DF125-V1 operator panel from the customer. it is on the end of its life, the screen shows only the backlight, nothing more. it has a communication interface NT20M-LB121-EV1 (C200H I/F Unit) mounted. I've found finaly the NTM Support Tool 4.2 on this site and I have managed to upload the program from the device. The goal is to convert the application to work on NT21, not necessarily by a program but in manual way. the problem is it seems there is no addresses to the plc in this application. As I understanded the manual this panel has no direct connection which means it can not access omron plc by entering just HR010 to access in fact there is no an option for it. Did anyone work with this kind of panel? Maybe it's not an error that there is no addresses in uploaded application? Can anyone help me?
