Wonderware Alarm History Files Help

Is there a way to search the WW Alarm Log File for specific alarms over a long period of time. I tried trending the alarms and sending to a csv file. However, this is a little more cumbersome than I would like. I was hoping someone knew of a way to search the alarm file itself for specific alarm events. Thanks.
