ILX69 question

Hi all

We are looking at a different way to interface our system PLCs to Profibus 

with the 1768 CNet cards EOL we are limited in what we can do due to the limitations of our software (stuck on Version 17, SW Eng won’t update the drivers)

so we are running an L43 with V17 RS5000, is this compatible with the Prosoft ILX69 slave module?

When configured and the add-on instruction installed it gives 244 in/out SINTs, if I change this to INT or DINT values will it still communicate with Profibus or will i need to keep it on SINT and BTD the values to our existing tag structures instead

any advice is appreciated or if you have a better solution that would be fantastic also
