Unity Pro/M580

Hi Again, I sent the previous topic rather prematurely - please ignore that one. But I'm still new to Unity. I am having trouble setting up a controller in Unity and when I try and input values (picture 2) in the DATA EDITOR I get an error notification and cannot validate. Removing these values clears the error. How do you input these values. If any one out there can reply with some help or send me a typical example of the set-up I would be grateful.
