Hi wizards Iv wrote a program off line while waiting for the expansion cards to arrive today.... ive installed the cards and tried to read to I/O config and its not seeing them if i enter them manually the plc faults saying they're the wrong cards im adding a 1762-IQ32 and a 1762-ow16 even tho ive plugged the ribbon cables into one another to they require their on power supply? hopefully one of you guys can help me out here   

Hi wizards i need some help please i've got a micrologix 1100 with a thermocouple expansion module on, I'm struggling to write a PID control to control a 24vDC output i can get the I:2.0 thermocouple input to control a analogue output but i dont want this . ive written a few rungs that will control a 24vDC output with on/off control using less than greater than functions but the control is not tight enough. iv seen this video (link Below) which would be perfect. im trying to control water tank temp any help on this would be greatly received guys   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psk5PP82JxY
