  1. I am Having trouble with a delta HMI and a compact logix controller. Only when i try's to write Bool values to the controller that are UDT scoped tags.  It Has no problem reading theses values however. The hmi also has no trouble reading and writing strings, ints and float values that are UDT scoped. It comes up on the HMI with communication Error 6 "Write error command cannot be executed.  Any advice would be welcomed as i have still yet to here back from delta. Thanks in advance.
  2. I am trying to achieve motion control on a hydraulic ram. It has an encoder on a belt which reads accurately back to my m850 via the plug in hsc module.  It has a electronic 4-20ma to pwm  card  that controls the proportional valve for flow control. I have tried setting up an axis in the controler  with an comanded axis velocity  and scalling it to a plug in anolog output modual on the controler.  Which kind of works.  But it is not accurate. And tends to over shoot.  Would I be better off using a pid based on encoder input?  Or am I missing something with my axis setup Thanks in advance
