  1. Omron PLC

I am going to configure PLC CS1W-ETN21 series from scratch. I am new to PLC concept. I want to know how to buy this product. What are the hardwares need to buy along with PLC? I have seen Omron site for ETN21 model. In that page they have ETN21 PLC, CPU bus unit, Basic I/O unit and Special I/O units. Need to buy all those hardwares along with PLC? Can anyone please tell the hardware details required for PLC configuration? The application we are going to deal is RFID system - contractor entry exit management. Please provide the PLC model used for this application.
  2. CS1W-ETN11 PLC - Communication between PLC and Host computer

Thank you very much. So we need CX programmer for configuring routing tables. We will do the configuration and let you know. If any question, I will ask you. Once again thanks for your help.
  3. CS1W-ETN11 PLC - Communication between PLC and Host computer

Thanks for your quick response. Now I understand that PLC would not flush its DM area itself by issuing any commands from host computer. We are also going to communicate PLC from another server. I don't know whether it is in the same network or connected through a relay node. If its same network then it wouldn't be a problem, but if it is connected through a relay node then we need to alter the FINS address. How can we access the routing table with or without CX-Programmer? Is there any possibility to alter the routing table manually? Sorry for asking too many questions....
  4. CS1W-ETN11 PLC - Communication between PLC and Host computer

Sorry........ Can you tell me is there any thing related to the term "flushing" in PLC. They send read request to PLC, then after getting the response from PLC. The PLC memory get flushed. Their setup is, Linux machine (server) in which PLC is connected Our application is running in Windows server 2003. They are all connected in one network. Either the PLC flushes the memory or Linux machine in which PLC connected has any configuration settings related this? Sorry if I am confusing..... I couldn't get the picture clearly in client side, but the cause is PLC memory flush.....
  5. CS1W-ETN11 PLC - Communication between PLC and Host computer

Thanks it works fine now. Question: In client side, they have another PLC. Response in PLC is automatically flushed. Is there any settings in PLC to configure or PLC by default it flushes the response? It would be nice if you can help me.
