Ethernet DLL Driver

I say this on Ebay today and thought it was quite interesting. Has anyone ever tried it out? I emailed the person and they said you can use DLL in VB or EXCEL. Don't know what DLL is yet, but I might be finding out. Ebay

DLL when used in contect of Windows platform means dynamic linked library. This is a module of code which loads into windows as needed to provide a given functionality. Active X controls are at their simplest an implementation of a DLL with a visable form associated with it. RSlinx adds several DLL's to windows when it is installed. As with any program from EBAY - buyer beware is my only opinion on this so far.
