Wet Bulb Temperature Calculation

2 posts in this topic

I have outdoor temperature and relative humidity transmitters that are inputs in a Controllogix PLC. I need Wet Bulb Temperature to determine how to control Cooling Tower/ heat exchanger bypass valves. Ranges: Temp -20 to 120 deg F RH = 0 to 100% Does Anyone know the formula for calculating Wet Bulb Temp. from Dry Bulb Temp. and Relative Humidity??? Edited by Autom8n

Hadn't seen this since High School Science, but google to the rescue. Hope the following helps. Some People that have probably done what you need. Perl Scripts for what you want. Can probably adapt to Structured Text. Other Wet Bulb Dry Bulb Formulas. Some Kentucky Windage Examples.
