May reside anywhere in the US. Required be near a major airport. Provide service, installation, training or consultation in the installation or operation of packaging equipment for the customer. Become a liaison between SSCC and the customer's personnel to maintain and/or reduce costs associated with the use and operation of SSCC supplied materials/equipment. · Service equipment for the smooth operation at the customer's site on as needed basis. · Consult on operation and status of equipment. Provide best practices advice to both the customer and SSCC. Collaborate with customer's assigned technical sales managers, sales reps, the supplying plants and other SSCC personnel. · Generate/distribute reports form site visits. · Recommend replacement parts/equipment for efficient operation or maintainability. · General schedules for plant visits on routine basis. · Attend committee meetings and provide summary of performance. Reports to the Service Manager. Position includes travel through the continental United States and Canada. Travel is expected at 70%.
