New Laptop + Old DH+ card = problem

Good luck with that one too. Since Windows doesn't let anyone mess with the serial port hardware directly, the need for hardware ports has dried up. Virtual ports are with us to stay. Alas I miss them too. But I thought the PCMCIA was new enough to be left alone. What was so wrong with it that it needed to be replaced anyway?

The slot in my M20 works fine. I was a little stiff the first time I put my PCMK into it.

I'm sure it does, the M20 has the PCMCIA slot. The M90 has the new and improved (grumble! ) ExpressCard slot.

AutomationWizard must have missed my post. The PCMK wouldn't physically fit in Waterboys laptop. I surely hope that you came up with a solution now Waterboy since this issue is several months old. Can you give us an update? Thanks TW
