I'm assuming you just want to backup and/or reload a current configuration. Have you checked with your sales rep? They may have an old copy, but be aware that it will be an extremely old DOS only program. Otherwise go here... http://literature.rockwellautomation.com/i...nph-idc_cgi.exe and look for the user manual. As I remember, they were also able to be programmed with just a dumb terminal program like the HyperTerminal & the right commands. HTH - Good Luck!

As I am sure that gravitar is leading to, some of the units were made by Spectrum Controls and are still available, along with the software which can be downloaded at http://www.spectrumcontrols.com/soi.htm#SPS There is one or two versions available through the AB KnowledgeBase as well, depending on your model (or they were a month ago).

I think what you are looking for is going to be an old DOS based program that may not run correctly on a machine with an OS newer than win 98. I have had to program our DL-30 and DL-40 units with an old win95 laptop. Zero success under win2kpro, or XP. As an upgrade, we used vorne 2140-PC units. They are much less expensive, much more versatile, more reliable, and the software is free and functional on modern windows OS. http://vorne.com/message-displays-2100ser.htm

I have absolutly no problems running either the DPS or the DL5 software on my PC with XP SP2. I even use a generic Radio Shack USB to Serial Converter. Set the comport to either Comm 1 or Comm2
