opc with Allen bradley

Hello everybody Can you tell me how to communicate Allen bradley plc5/30 with Pc by DH+ to run an HMI on that PC through an OPC? also,what about the wonderware..which drivers i should need? Edited 21 Apr 2006 by rami11

You will need a version of RSlinx beyond lite {OEM, PRO, Gateway} that supports OPC.

You will also need a DH+ card for your computer. The PCI card for DH+ communications is the 1784-PKTX.

thank you for your reply....but i need an information on how to use them with wonderware and which servers/driver from wonderware i should need.

Been a while since I used WW for HMI, but if i recall they had a DAS I/O Server specifically for AB. Actually I recall they had three to five of them based on your Processor {SLC, PLC or CLGX} and Comm path {DH+, Serial, ENET or RIO}. Of course that was version 8.1.
