RSLogix500-two questions.

Could u please help me with these two questions: 1. How to create double integer (long) data file with RS logix500. 2. How to perform division (what character to use) while using compute function command. Thank u very much for your help!

1.- SLC-500 haven´t double integer (Long), Micrologix 1200 and 1500 yes. If you have SLC-500 use Float data. 2.- The character of the division in "Compute" instruction is "|". Good Luck

Yes that's it. It can be seen on other keyboards. "Shift+\" it looks like this went pressed (at least on mine) " | ". Have heard the term pipes not since I was into Unix.
