Writing String serially

Hello all. I am using a FX2N to communicate serially with an Heidenhain display. I need to Send STX to the display and it will send me back the position measurement as a string. I am able to communicate with the display through Hyperterminal, but having issues with GX Developer. Has anyone done this or have any advice on what i am doing wrong. I am prett sure that i have the parameters set right. I have attached what i have so far. Any help is Greatly appreciated. COMM_TEST.zip
