od219 old and new

Hi' just got some od219 64 bit output modules. they are a little different than the ones i currently have. most noteabely in the hexadecimal switch rather than a decimal switch. the doc's i've got say you can only use 5 64 bit modules per cpu and none in expansion racks. what gives. can you use 8 now or what?????? thanks again....

Man, you better catch up with Omron. C200HS is almost obsolete. C200HS will never address more than 5 C200H-OD219. C200HE and some C200HG are limited to 5. Some C200HG and all C200HX can address 8. There is no limit on CS1 and CS1-H. BTW, expansion racks are OK. It's slave racks (remote I/O) that are excluded.

thanks for the input jay. I'm working with omron on my own , no fat wallet to pilfer<> could you enlighten me as to which processors are compatible with the c200h modules. thanks again
