Communication between NT20s & NT support tool

Help.... I am trying to upload from aN NT20S. I put the NT20S into comms mode and then try to upload from support tool but get timeout error. I am using the same cable that connects the NT20S to the PLC, is this correct? Set baud rate at 9600 on my laptop but what about other comms settings, data bits etc???? Thanks. Gary.

You need an Omron programming cable. Same cable you download your programs with to the Omron PLC's. Here's a schematic: Omron universal serial cable @ MrPLC.com. Edited 1 Sep 2005 by PdL
