DL40 Programming Software

I'm using A-B's DOS-based #2706-LSW to program a DL-40 Plus message display. Does anyone know of anything better? It would be nice if there was some kind of conversion program to take an Excel or Word list of messages and tranlate them to a "mem" file. A-B told me that they have no intention of upgrading this software. PS - I am using the PanelView WinPFT transport utility to upload and download message files.

That's all there is, enjoy it. At least it runs under the latest Windows provided you have the WinPFT utility. Look at it this way, you get to take a trip down cyber-memory lane each time you use it, and remind yourself how bad DOS used to be.
