Posted 9 April (edited) My understanding for the NX102-9000 controller is that it can't control servo axes. The controller description says 0 axes but my machine builder is telling me otherwise. I would think the -9000 suffix would indicate something inherently different from the other -1000 series units. What am I missing? I am not sure what it means for number of 'controlled' axes and number of 'used real' axes from the manual. Edited 9 April by kckku
Posted 9 April I read that as 0 motion control and 4 single position control axes. This thread might help shed some light on it: https://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?/topic/41636-1s-servo-single-axis-position-control-axis-vs-motion-control-axis/ 1 person likes this
Posted 17 April 4 position control axes... position control axes are basic motion axes, and do not support group motions. The instruction set in the manual shows which instructions can be used on a single axis positioning axis. 1 person likes this
Posted 29 May 4 single-axis with Omron library but you can control more EtherCAT slave (64) servo drive directly or with your own library.
