ETN21 Firmware update posible/not posible?

Hi Omron experts,

Does anybody know if it's possible to update a ETN21 module to a newer firmware? I see version 1.5 now supports classless IP addressing.

This is most likely an Omron question. I wouldn't think so. I say this because, even the NJ/NX series are not field upgradable. Omron can upgrade them.

Thanks IO. Im hoping omron can update them for me. I've contacted them without response as yet.

Omron can update NJ/NX firmware, but not cards.

Usually done by field AEs but occasionally distributors can.

Yep, I would agree about the CJ series of firmware update.

such a shame omron never adapted the option for this series

Sysmac NJ/NX CPU firmware can be upgraded.  Legacy CJ Series CPUs and modules cannot.
